Kebbi Gov't. signs N10bn MoU on completion of ultramodern State Secretariat  By Yahaya Danjada Arg.  18/08/2023 Kebbi State Governor, Comerade Dr Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) has signed a N10 billion Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with two companies for the completion of its Ultra Modern Secretariat Complex in Birnin Kebbi.  Signing the MoU at the council chamber, Government House shortly after the maiden State Executive Council (SEC) meeting on Friday, the Governor said that the contract was to streamline the civil service and reduce the conjecture of workers. He described the project as part of his commitment towards providing conducive working environment for the workers, while charging the contractors to meet up with the 18 months contractual agreement. Kebbi Guber: Kebbi Tribunal Admits Original Certificates of Deputy Governor.  09/08/2023 The Governorship Tribunal sitting in Birnin Kebbi has admitted all the original certificates of the State Deputy Governor, Senator Abubakar Umar, which were presented the Permanent Secretary, Sokoto State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Schools Education as well as Director of Exams. The Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi, who paid a visit to the family of Late Mu'azu Bello to console them, described the  for death of late Muazu Bello as a great loss not only to the family but to the entire Kebbi state. The Deputy Governor said that the  late Mu'azu Bello was a professional journalist who served Kebbi State and the country as a whole.  He prayed Allah to  forgive mistakes of  the deceased.

ORDERS RELEASE OF  RELIEF MATERIALS TO VICTIMS OF WINDSTORM IN ZAURO Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi has directed State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) to hasten assessment of affected houses and provide relief materials such as zinc roofing sheets, cement and other items to victims of windstorm in Zauro town to enable them resettle to their homes immediately. This was as a result of heavy windstorm which blew-off roofs and walls of over 100 houses at Zauro town in Birnin Kebbi local government area of Kebbi state. DEPUTY GOVERNOR CONDOLED WITH THE PEOPLE ALLE-KWARA OF  LAILABA VILLAGE  The Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi, has condoled the people of  Alle-kwara village in Lailaba district of Argungu Local government over the death and injuries recorded from the recent thunder storm that hits the village. At least  3 people died and six (6) injured from the incident. The injured are recieving treatment in the hospital. The Deputy Governor  visited the Village in order to condole with the family and relatives of the victims. He also provided financial support of three million five hundred thousand naira (N3,500,000) to the families of those who lost their lives and those that are recieving medical treatment.
