Bagudu inspects venue for Argungu International Fishing & Cultural Festival

As Kebbi humbly awaits the coming of President Muhammadu Buhari to grace the famous 2020 Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival scheduled to start on Wednesday 11th and ends on the 14th March, 2020, the Kebbi State Governor, Senator, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu was in Argungu this Saturday, 7/3/2020 on inspection visit .

The Governor was recieved by some members of the Agricultural Committee at Filin Sukuwa, venue for the Agricultural Fareground  in Argungu.

Abdullahi Maigandu, former General Manager of Kebbi Agricultural Rural Development Authority ( KARDA) and the State Chairman of Wheat Farmers Association briefed the Governor on the level of progress recorded in preparation for the event.

Bagudu who was at the venue to see the level of prepairedness for hosting the international event in Argungu, inspected the various pavilions and ongoing work in the venue.

He advised the committee members to make some modifications at the venue and commended their efforts in working round the clock to ensure the sucess of the festival.

KBSG  DISTRIBUTES  N200M LIVELIHOOD GRANTS TO 2,000 BENEFICIARIES Kebbi State Government has distributed the sum of N200 Million Grant to 2,000 Beneficiaries across the state under the KB - Cares livelihood Grant Program. KEBBI STATE GOVERNMENT CONDOLES WITH THE FAMILY OF LATE JOURNALIST. 02/07/2023 The Government of Kebbi State has condoled with the family of the late Journalist, Muazu Bello , who died yesterday. The Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi, who paid a visit to the family of Late Mu'azu Bello to console them, described the  for death of late Muazu Bello as a great loss not only to the family but to the entire Kebbi state. The Deputy Governor said that the  late Mu'azu Bello was a professional journalist who served Kebbi State and the country as a whole.  He prayed Allah to  forgive mistakes of  the deceased.
