KEBBI STATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR ATTENDS WEDDING CEREMONIES The State Deputy Governor, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida, was among the hundreds who attended a wedding Fatiha of Fatima Aliyu mera, Maryam Aliyu Mera and that of the families of Alh. Umar Mera held at the Argungu emirate Palace Juma'at Mosque today shortly after the Friday prayer.    Preceding the wedding Fatiha imam ibrahim umar who prayed for the couple, reminded them on the importance of living their lives in accordance with the teachings of Islam and following the example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). KBSG  VOWS TO COMPLETE ONGOING AND ABANDONED PROJECTS Kebbi State Government has affirmed its commitment to ensure the completion of all ongoing and abandoned projects across the state. thea State Deputy Governor, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi gave the assurance while inspecting ongoing Groundnut Oil Shared Facility Factory and Flour Mill as well as abandoned Perkeb Ceramic/Plastic Company at Bulasa industrial layout in Birnin Kebbi today the 5th of July, 2023. The Deputy Governor assured of the present administration's commitment to ensure that  all abandoned projects are completed and commissioned for job creation and revenue to the state . KBSG  DISTRIBUTES  N200M LIVELIHOOD GRANTS TO 2,000 BENEFICIARIES Kebbi State Government has distributed the sum of N200 Million Grant to 2,000 Beneficiaries across the state under the KB - Cares livelihood Grant Program. The State Deputy Governor, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi, while flagging-off the disbursement in Birnin Kebbi said the gesture was part of the good intentions of Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu's led administration to make people self-reliant. The Deputy Governor said, considering the dangers of idleness among the youths in the present-day society which has subjected able-bodied persons to poverty, hunger and living in squalor due to lack of trade, the present administration will come-up with intervention programmes to make people gainfully employed. KEBBI STATE GOVERNMENT CONDOLES WITH THE FAMILY OF LATE JOURNALIST. 02/07/2023 The Government of Kebbi State has condoled with the family of the late Journalist, Muazu Bello , who died yesterday. The Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi, who paid a visit to the family of Late Mu'azu Bello to console them, described the  for death of late Muazu Bello as a great loss not only to the family but to the entire Kebbi state. The Deputy Governor said that the  late Mu'azu Bello was a professional journalist who served Kebbi State and the country as a whole.  He prayed Allah to  forgive mistakes of  the deceased.

KEBBI DEPUTY GOV. ORDERS RELEASE OF  RELIEF MATERIALS TO VICTIMS OF WINDSTORM IN ZAURO Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi has directed State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) to hasten assessment of affected houses and provide relief materials such as zinc roofing sheets, cement and other items to victims of windstorm in Zauro town to enable them resettle to their homes immediately. This was as a result of heavy windstorm which blew-off roofs and walls of over 100 houses at Zauro town in Birnin Kebbi local government area of Kebbi state. The Deputy Governor gave directive when he was conducted round to the affected houses  by Representative of District Head of Zauro, Alhaji Muhammad Dikko and Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties, Hon. DEPUTY GOVERNOR CONDOLED WITH THE PEOPLE ALLE-KWARA OF  LAILABA VILLAGE  The Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi, has condoled the people of  Alle-kwara village in Lailaba district of Argungu Local government over the death and injuries recorded from the recent thunder storm that hits the village. At least  3 people died and six (6) injured from the incident. The injured are recieving treatment in the hospital. The Deputy Governor  visited the Village in order to condole with the family and relatives of the victims. He also provided financial support of three million five hundred thousand naira (N3,500,000) to the families of those who lost their lives and those that are recieving medical treatment.
