Kebbi Gov't. signs N10bn MoU on completion of ultramodern State Secretariat  By Yahaya Danjada Arg.  18/08/2023 Kebbi State Governor, Comerade Dr Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) has signed a N10 billion Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with two companies for the completion of its Ultra Modern Secretariat Complex in Birnin Kebbi.  Signing the MoU at the council chamber, Government House shortly after the maiden State Executive Council (SEC) meeting on Friday, the Governor said that the contract was to streamline the civil service and reduce the conjecture of workers. He described the project as part of his commitment towards providing conducive working environment for the workers, while charging the contractors to meet up with the 18 months contractual agreement. Giving the history of the work, the Kebbi State Head of Service, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba-Bena recalled that the project was initially awarded to Rockwell Nigeria Limited at the cost of N3.8 billion in 2021 by the then Gov. Kebbi Guber: Kebbi Tribunal Admits Original Certificates of Deputy Governor.  09/08/2023 The Governorship Tribunal sitting in Birnin Kebbi has admitted all the original certificates of the State Deputy Governor, Senator Abubakar Umar, which were presented the Permanent Secretary, Sokoto State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Schools Education as well as Director of Exams. They tendered the documents to prove attendance at various institutions attended by the Kebbi State Deputy Governor as well his attendance in the mock examination of the Sultan Abubakar Teachers College. After the tendering of the documents, the second subpoenaed witness, Abdulrahaman Jafar Lawal was Cross-examined by the 1st, 2nd and 4th Respondents’ counsels as well as the counsel to the petitioners, led by Ibrahim K.
