Flood : Kebbi Governor visits more rice farms submerged by water in 4 LGAs Press release In continuation of his visit to assess farmlands and communities affected by flood in the state, the Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for a second day running visited Suru, Bunza, Kalgo and Birnin Kebbi local government areas . Kebbi Gov warns against diversion of CACOVID palliatives, directs incorporation of CBOs,NGOs in the distribution. Press Release Kebbi State Governor, Sen. Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Tuesday,in Birnin Kebbi, sternly warned against the diversion of the assorted food items donated to over 38000 households by the Federal Government, under the Coalition Against Coronavirus Disease ( CACOVID). Bagudu, gave the warning, when he addressed newsmen in Birnin Kebbi, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Babale Umar Yauri. The Governor said that, to ensure that, all the intended vulnerable families got their shares of the food items as scheduled, Community Based Organizations (CBOs) as well as Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) would be fully involved in the process of the distribution of the palliatives. Gov Bagudu flags off distribution of CACOVID food relief materials to 38,047 households  Press Release  Gov Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State, Thursday, flagged off the distribution of assorted food relief materials donated to no fewer than 38,047 households by the Coalition Against COVID-19 ( CACOVID ). The assorted food items were provided by the Coalition, while the disbursement was approved by President Muhammadu Buhari.  The flag off ceremony was being conducted simultaneously on Thursday, across the thirty six states of Nigeria and FCT, Abuja.  The food items included Pasta Macararoni, rice, refined salt ,sugar, sphagetti, flour and indomie . Bagudu, represented by his Deputy, Alhaji Sama'ila Yombe Dabai , said that,  a total of forty five (45) trucks of the items were supplied to the state .
